1. Our Core Idea

Södertälje FK exists so that every child who wants to play football gets the chance. We are a non-profit association built on commitment, participation, and community. For us, football is more than just a sport – it is a tool to create joy, inclusion, and development for children and youth in Södertälje.

2. Rights and Responsibilities

Being a member of Södertälje FK means both rights and responsibilities.

• Every child has the right to play football in a safe, inclusive, and pressure-free environment.

• Every parent or guardian has the responsibility to actively contribute to making their child’s team work. It is not possible to opt out of responsibility and expect someone else to take care of the team. Without parents’ involvement, there is no team.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

When children are registered in the club, parents/guardians commit to taking one of the roles that every team needs in order to function:

• Administrative Team Leader – responsible for organization and contact with the club.

• Coach – leads training and matches, supported by the club’s educational plan.

• Social Coordinator – ensures safety, community spirit, and good values in the team.

• Treasurer – manages the team’s finances according to the club’s guidelines.

These roles are not heavy tasks, but they are essential for the children to be able to play football in a safe and fun way.

4. The Club’s Responsibility

Södertälje FK provides the framework and support:

• We offer a clear structure for how teams are run.

• We have an educational plan for coaches and leaders to ensure quality and development.

• We provide support so all parents feel confident in their roles.

• We always put the children’s joy and safety at the center – without pressure or elitist demands.

5. Our Shared Journey

Södertälje FK is not a service that delivers football – we are a community. When all members take their responsibility, we can together create a club where every child experiences movement, friendship, and growth.
